How do I inform people in a building that a gunshot has been detected?
The Alice360 device has a dry contact that is triggered upon gunshot detection. Depending on your existing infrastructure you can tie this dry contact to trigger events on existing notification systems. If no notification systems are in place, your sales consultant can work with you on options.
Can the Alice 360 device detect gunshots from another room?
The Alice 360 device does not pick up the concussive wave of a gunshot through walls. lf there is a room where gunshot detection is appropriate, it is best to place a sensor in that room. The 75 foot, 360-degree detection, does allow for maximum detection in large areas and down hallways.
Does this device integrate into other security systems that I have today?
The Alice360 device has a dry contact that can be wired to many existing systems and trigger an event, depending on the existing system.
